HOW DO I GET THE BEST WATERPROOFING?

Scheduling: call New England Waterproofing when you know the footings are going in so we can get you on the schedule. Knowing that dates change due to people and weather, we are flexible as well as realistic. While we do our best to accommodate our customers, we prefer as much notice as you can give us.

Before we arrive… here is what gets the best results:
/Form ties snapped, inside and out.
/Grade lines clearly marked on foundation (chalk, marker or spray paint) as close to finish grade as possible.
/Access to the foundation: The crew needs to park the truck near a stable excavation with at least feet between wall and dirt.
The footing should be free from dirt, mud, rocks, snow and ice.

Grading: both rough and finish grades sloping away from the foundation. NO MOATS!
Backfilling: wait 24 hours, and use clean materials, no large boulders and rocks.
Concrete: high quality, well vibrated.
Drainage system: Required for all insulated jobs, and recommended for all jobs.
Gutters and downspouts: installed as soon as possible to avoid vast amounts of roof water from draining next to foundation.
